Arrested Develpment Quote #3
Posted in Arrested Development, TV on October 30th, 2009 by nmillisMichael: Can’t a guy call his mother pretty without it seeming strange?
Buster Bluth: Amen. And how about that little piece of tail on her? Kee-ute!
Michael: I’ve opened a door here that I regret.
Lucille: Oh, he’s just talking about his stupid turtle.
Buster: She has a name, Mother, and it’s Mother.
Netflix on the Wii
Posted in Movies, TV, Technology, Video Games on October 30th, 2009 by nmillisThe other day I was discussing the fact that a lot of people are starting to abandon cable and move towards streaming and the like. A large factor that has made this possible is Netflix, which is pretty damn cheap and allows you to stream movies and TV shows (or have the actual discs sent to you if you so choose). Netflix streams to many devices, including Xbox 360 and recently the PS3. I don’t have these or any other related devices, so I’m pretty much SOL on that front. Or am I? It seems that Netflix streaming could be headed to the Wii, which I do have. Oh joyous day. Although I also don’t have Netflix. That could be problematic.
DROID
Posted in Technology, Videos on October 30th, 2009 by nmillisI figured since it was so close to coming true, I’d share what could’ve been. From Boy Genius Report:
To go for $199.99 on a 2-year deal, the DROID is one hell of a steal considering that its specs include a 3.7″ WVGA capacitive display, sliding QWERTY keypad, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash, 720×480 video capture at 24 fps, GPS (the DROID is the first device to feature Google Maps Navigation which provides free turn-by-turn voice navigation), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Exchange support, 6.4 hours of talk time and a pre-installed 16GB memory card — all running on top of Android 2.0.
Plus since it’s running Android, it has all of my Google goodies. Here’s a vid of the voice turn-by-turn navigation.
Something Smells
Posted in Uncategorized on October 28th, 2009 by nmillisAnd it’s our water. More specifically our kitchen water. At least I’m 90% sure at the moment. A little more detective work is in order, but I’m at a loss as to what else it could be. Hopefully I’m wrong.
Arrested Development Quote #2
Posted in Arrested Development, TV on October 20th, 2009 by nmillisMichael Bluth: Hey, Mom. Remember we had that conversation about trying to cut back on things that aren’t necessities?
Lucille Bluth: Like it was yesterday.
Michael: It was this morning…
Soap Opera Guides
Posted in TV, Uncategorized on October 14th, 2009 by nmillisWhat are these? What’s the point? Why do they exist? Can’t you just watch your soap operas and get the information from the show itself? Do you really need some magazine to shed some deep and wonderful meaning behind the latest fake love triangle or some horrible and saddening fake death?
Arrested Development Quote #1
Posted in Arrested Development, TV, Videos on October 12th, 2009 by nmillisLast night as I was watching Arrested Development for literally the 100th time, I thought about how amazing the show is, and how very few people I know watch it. It went off the air in 2006 after only three seasons, for reasons I can’t fathom. Or I guess maybe the one.
I would definitely recommend buying the series (all three seasons are under $20) because it has great replay value, and is filled with quotables. So I decided that every week, or more often if I so choose, I’m going to share a quote from the show. Sometimes they might need some context, but that’s half the fun, so I’ll leave that for you to figure out. And now, the first quote.
Bride of Gob: I’m in love with your brother-in-law.
Gob Bluth: You’re in love with your own brother? The one in the army?
Bride of Gob: No. Your sister’s husband.
Gob: Michael? MICHAEL.
Bride of Gob: No, that’s your sister’s brother.
Gob: No, I’M my sister’s brother. You’re in love with – me. Me!
Bride of Gob: I’m in love with Tobias.
Gob: My brother-in-law?
Bride of Gob: I know it can never be, so I’m leaving. I’m enlisting in the army.
Gob: To be with your brother…?
Bride of Gob: No!

One of the features allows couples to have their own wedding page, which is basically an individual site for your wedding. We’ll be adding stuff here and there, but here is our Wedding Page. Feel free to browse and sign our Guest Book, and if there’s anything you really want to know that’s not on there, whether about us or the ceremony, let me know and we’ll see what we can do.
The Worst Thing About Losing
