Put Cameras on the Line

I was watching the Big Ten Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships earlier today on the Big Ten Network, and the 600M came on. It was a great race, photo finish and all. You couldn’t tell at all on TV who was the winner because one runner was blocking the other, and the camera was placed before the finish line. Now they have electronic timing so the camera angle doesn’t matter at all, but it’s on TV. I want to see what happened at the line. Is it so hard to put a camera right on the line? It must be, because the NFL apparently cant put one on the goal line either, which would actually solve a lot of problems. It’s 2009. How can they not do something so simple?
