Sore Losers Are Winners In My Book

I was watching The Top 5 Reasons You Can’t Blame… about Steve Bartman, the Chicago Cubs fan that “cost” his team a World Series appearance, and it really showed how maniacal some people can be about their sports. Did I say maniacal? I meant immature and obsessed. Like this guy.

At least his friends are borderline awesome.

The Beginning of the End

Tomorrow begins the end of my illustrious college career, finally. My final semester has arrived, and soon it’ll be off to adventures unknown. It’s an exciting time, and a nerve racking one as well. Hopefully I can finish strong and go off and make the big bucks, wherever the wind takes me.

A Wii Christmas

Another successful, Wii-filled Christmas has come and gone. After what seemed like every person I know got a Wii, it was my turn. I got my console last year and I already have a few games, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t more goodies for me to get. First I got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I’d been waiting for a few months to get it, but it was well worth the wait to dominate all with the Dark Side of the Force. That wasn’t enough for me, though, so I went and bought No More Heroes from the bargain bin at Walmart, and now I’m on my way to becoming the number one assassin in the world. I’m probably going to go pick up Resident Evil 4 for $20 too. Another of my Wii gifts was Wii Speak,  a handy dandy little peripheral that lets people talk to each other either in the Wii Speak Channel, or in certain games. As of right now, only one of those games exists, and I don’t want it, but The Conduit will come out sooner or later. To cap it all off, I finally got Wii Fit the other day in the Cities. According to Wii Fit, I am overweight and have less than great balance. Oh, and Yoga is hard if you happen to be unbalanced like myself, and also extremely inflexible. But with the help of Wii Fit, hopefully I can shed those pounds and become a world class gymnast!
