Merry Christmas

I remember actually watching Transformers when I was younger, but not much else about it. Not that it really matters, because the movie looks like it’ll be pretty damn good. And if it happens that it isn’t entertaining, it will at least literally look good. Oh how I wish I was a war mongering robot.
In light of Devin Hester’s record breaking performance yesterday, I decided to make my All-Hurricanes NFL team. I’m not gonna lie, if this was an actual team, they’d be pretty damn good.

I could’ve went all-time and made it even better, with say Jim Kelly and Michael Irvin, but this’ll do.
In my Sociology class, we have been talking about income and wealth and things of that nature, and today we talked about homeless/poor people and reasons why people have these problems. Obviously one belief is that it is the fault of the individual, and why this may not be the rule and merely one possibility, this is just amazing.
Apparently this debuted during MNF last night, but I didn’t watch that filth. I almost wish I had, though. Here’s the newest Halo 3 trailer, and it is sick. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say I was watching a real life intergalactic war, but I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. Maybe I’ll buy a 360 after all.
Apparently you don’t have to have any intelligence to be on TV and talk about sports. Just a little bit ago it was announced that Florida is going to be playing against Ohio State in the BCS championship game. I don’t have a problem with that, but people have flawed arguments for picking them over Michigan. First, Michigan didn’t win their conference, so they can’t play for the National Championship. Wake Forest or Oklahoma deserves to play before Michigan with that logic. Did I say logic? I meant idiocy. What if Florida lost yesterday? I guess Louisville would get to play then, cause hey, they’re obviously better than Michigan. They did win their conference you know. Second, Michigan had their chance already. Yeah, they did, and only have one loss. Florida hasn’t played Ohio State yet. But wait second. Doesn’t Florida have a loss too? Why yes, yes they do. That means they have the same amount of losses as Michigan, but their loss isn’t to the number one team in the country. Sure Auburn was 10-2, but that’s not 12-0. Not to mention that obviously neither of those two losses were to Florida. And did beating Arkansas really merit jumping over Michigan? Maybe, but probably not. Like I said, I don’t have a problem with Florida playing in this game, but people are just idiots.
P.S. And whoever thinks there is controversy because of the BCS again is wrong. Usually critics think the computers are wrong, but the humans voted Florida number two as well this year.
