Saw III

Posted in Movies on October 27th, 2006 by Administrator

I just got back from Saw III. All I can say is, good show, good show. Early on, some of it pretty much pissed me off. It seemed like rules weren’t being followed, and I didn’t like it. As it progressed, it got better. Then I figured one part out, which I’ve tried to do for all of the Saw movies, and I was a happy boy. Then you get to a part that throws some twists at you, and the end is drawing nigh. Or is it? It keeps going, and then Jigsaw plays with your mind. Overall, I’d say it’s the best Saw movie. It ties up some loose ends, ends you didn’t even know were loose. It also goes more in depth into everything. If you liked the first two, then I’d say this is a must see.

Some guy posted this in a forum the other day, but I figured I’d wait til today to post it. If this is true, then it’s either gonna have some crazy twists, or shed some light on the previous movies. I’m crossing my fingers for this one.

Steroids

Posted in Sports on October 22nd, 2006 by Administrator

I just saw this article on ESPN.com. I wasn’t very surprised or anything, but just a little disappointed. This guy came from nothing, literally (his house burned down like 2-3 times when he was a kid), and was supposed to be this great role model, and now we find this out. I’ve just decided that everyone uses steroids. I’d say that’s more likely than hardly anyone using them. Especially in the NFL, cause everyone is huge and ripped out of their minds. As a fan, I hate when people use steroids, but I guess if/when people start dying early players will get the message.

Badger Hockey

I went to the Badger-UMD game yesterday. The Badgers of course won 5-2. I hadn’t been to a Badger game in almost a year. It was fun to go back to one. Elliott played solid as usual, and the Badgers were allergic to shooting like normal. I haven’t really kept up on them lately, but I don’t think everyone played, and they seemed a little skittish. Oh well, it’s early (3-1-2, 2-1-1). Went with my aunt and uncle, my cousins and my sis. Overall we had a good time. Then some ass clown passed us on the right on the rumble strip on the Interstate. That was interesting. Then he almost ran some van off the road. Luckily only some bulldogs and the red mite squad were hurt on this night.

Like Father, Like Son

I’ve been waiting on this for a couple months now. By this I mean the new album by Birdman & Lil Wayne. It comes out on Halloween, but who wants to wait two more weeks? Not this guy. Since it leaked today, I thought I’d put this up.

Overall, I think it’s a pretty good album, but not as good as Tha Carter III will be.

“Niggas wonder why I stress, that I am the best
Cause, even bobbleheads tell me yes (haha)
Put it on the hood, I’m Hollygrove to def
I’m already good, I’m workin on my left
A jungle on my wrist, a circus on my neck
Don’t forget the Baby no don’t forget the F.”

Badgers

I’m watching ESPN’s Full Circle coverage of the Florida-Auburn game, and Colin Cowherd of ESPN Radio fame (at least to me) was talking to Herbstreit, and he said the Badgers are going to run the table and go 11-1. This guy is a college football freak, and he definitely tells it like he sees it, so I found that to be pretty surprising. I was a little down on the Badgers at the beginning of the year, but they just keep going out and getting wins. They were the most impressive team to play Michigan this year as well. If they keep this up, it could have huge ramifications for the future.

IDK who has all seen this Full Circle thing, but it’s the seond time they’ve done this. The first time was for the Miami-FSU game. They cover it on like five channels/media, it’s very unique. For example, on ESPN2, they have the game in the middle, and on the sides and bottom they have separate screens: one for each coach, one for each QB and skycam. I think it’s something cool to have every once in awhile.

Batman

I just got done watching Batman Begins. It’s by far the best Batman movie to date. I saw it in theaters, but I forgot the very end. Seeing it again definitely makes more sense of this. I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

Word Association #2

Posted in Word Association on October 9th, 2006 by Administrator

Since the first one was global phenomenon, I decided to do it again. Again, don’t do it two times on a row, and don’t use words that have pretty much been used before, i.e. dog & dogs. I’ll start it off with…pen.

I’m Gonna Kick This Kid

I’m in the computer lab, and this lady brought her 2-year old kid in here. He’s been talking constantly, and she keeps telling him to be quiet and whisper, but that’s it. He doesn’t shut up. He repeats things 50 times. “Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing? Mom, what are you doing?” “You get that toy. You get that toy. You get that toy. You get that toy.” He’s talking to stangers as if they were his mom or dad. He probably would get abducted on the playground somewhere since she doesn’t watch him and he rambles on about fish, but my foot just met his ass, and I can’t see him anymore.

Hope Bargain Center

I’ve seen this commercial on TV about the Hope Bargain Center, and it says they are helping the homeless in the Chippewa Valley. I drive past that place every other day, so I was reminded of this. It’s a good thing that they are helping the homeless, but there is just something I don’t get. On the commercial, they show people looking at clothes and stuff, as well as furniture. Now, I’m not a sociologist, (I just play one in class), and I could be wrong about the definition of the word homeless, but why would you need furniture if you don’t have a home? Just a little something that puzzles me. I occasionally lose sleep over it.

Rollout!!!!!

If you liked the song by Ludacris, or even hated it really, then I think you’ll enjoy this.
